“To worship the Lord with all of our lives and to share His love with others” is the church vision statement and as part of this we take the safeguarding of all those we have contact with very seriously. The church is fully committed to the belief that all children, young people and vulnerable adults have a fundamental right to be protected from harm and, therefore, fully recognises it’s responsibility for Safeguarding. A full Safeguarding policy is in place and can be made available for you, should you wish to read it.
Children & Youth Worker
A warm welcome to Lyanna Austin, who is our newest Children and Youth worker as well as worship leader for The Community Church Storrington.
Lyanna joined our congregation in June this year and will be working part-time serving the children’s ministry and developing the worship team. Lyanna hails originally from Croydon and has been a youth worker with the Jam Team (Schools ministry team) based out of New Life Christian Centre for over 5 years and also served as worship leader for over 9 years. Lyanna’s primary role will be to oversee the youth ministry of The Community Church and developing the youth programme.
We’re excited to have Lyanna and look forward to watching her grow in her position at The Community Church.
